Who we are

All processing happens locally on your device

BlockerVibe runs entirely on your phone. There are no Blithley servers that receive, process, or store information about what you do. The app detects what is on your screen and acts on it — all of this happens locally, privately, on your device only.

What we collect

Nothing personal. BlockerVibe does not collect your name, email, phone number, location, device ID, Instagram username, or any information that identifies you as a person.

What is stored on your device

BlockerVibe stores a small amount of data locally on your phone to make the app work. This data never leaves your device and we cannot access it. It includes:

Whether you have completed onboarding. Whether Accessibility Service is enabled. Whether you are a Pro subscriber. Whether you have used your Daily Candy today and when it resets. Your Reels blocked count and Explore blocked count (numbers only, no content).

That is everything. No screen content. No Instagram data. No personal information of any kind.

Accessibility Service

BlockerVibe uses Android Accessibility Service to detect when Instagram's Reels tab or Explore page is open on your screen. This is the only way to block these features without replacing the Instagram app entirely.

We use this permission for one purpose only — detecting which Instagram screen is active. We never read your messages, photos, captions, passwords, usernames, or any content on your screen. We never record your screen. We never transmit anything from your Accessibility Service to any server.

All Accessibility Service processing happens instantly and locally on your device. Nothing is logged or stored beyond what is described above.

DMs Only Mode

When you activate DMs Only Mode, BlockerVibe blocks all Instagram features except Direct Messages for the duration you selected (2 or 3 days). No additional data is collected during this mode. The same local storage rules apply.

Daily Candy

When you use your Daily Candy window, BlockerVibe pauses all blocking for 15 minutes. We store only the date you last used it and when it resets. No data about what you do during the Candy window is collected or stored.

Subscriptions and payments

Pro subscriptions are handled entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see, receive, or store your payment information, credit card details, or billing address. Google processes all payments and communicates subscription status directly to the app on your device.

Third parties

BlockerVibe uses Google Play Billing for subscription management only. We do not use advertising SDKs, analytics tools, crash reporting services, or any other third party data collection of any kind.

Children

BlockerVibe does not knowingly collect information from anyone because we do not collect information from anyone at all.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy we will update the date at the top and notify users through the app before the change takes effect. We will never introduce data collection without clearly informing you first.
